Egishe Dzhazoyan

He is a partner in King & Spalding’s London office and specializes in international arbitration and litigation. As a dual qualified (England & Wales and Russia) lawyer with both civil and common law background, Egishe is uniquely placed to provide strategic legal advice concerning large and complex disputes, often involving a cross-border element and enforcement issues. During 23 years of practice, Egishe has advised and represented clients in more than 200 arbitration and litigation proceedings across a host of various jurisdictions and in a broad range of industries. Egishe also sits as an arbitrator, in which capacity he has particular experience with disputes involving sanctions issues. Egishe also frequently advises clients in court proceedings and has particular experience in matters involving enforcement of arbitral awards against sovereign states, as well as complex offshore commercial fraud and asset recovery disputes. Egishe has been consistently ranked in the International Arbitration category by Chambers UK and Legal 500 UK and has also featured in the inaugural Legal 500 International Arbitration Powerlist UK.

Ms. Marlena Harutyunyan

She is senior associate at Archipel, Geneva, admitted to the Paris and Geneva Bars. Marlena mainly represents and advises clients in arbitration proceedings, both commercial and investment, before major arbitral institutions (ICC, ICSID, SAC, LCIA, etc.) in different industry sectors, including construction, aviation, energy, oil and gas, as well as in industrial risks, defective products and post-acquisition disputes. In addition, she is often appointed as secretary to arbitral tribunals. Marlena also represents clients in complex commercial and arbitration related litigation, including annulment and enforcement proceedings. Prior to joining Archipel, she practiced international arbitration and litigation in the Paris and New York offices of Baker McKenzie. Marlena holds an LL.M in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, a Master’s degree in Commercial Law and a Magistère de Juriste d’Affaires—D.J.C.E. from the Université Panthéon-Assas—Paris II. Marlena is a native Armenian speaker and works in English, French and Russian. She also has a good knowledge of Ukrainian.

Wing So

Mainly focuses on international commercial arbitration and cross-border litigation, including maritime, aviation, and construction disputes. He is known for his expertise on costs and complex jurisdictional disputes, and most frequently instructed in cases involving Chinese SOEs and/or entities from Russia, Ukraine, or other CIS Countries, and increasingly, MENA countries. More recently, he has been involved in various investor-state arbitration cases. Due to his experience in legal academia and university management, he has a background in higher education law, and Islamic and Hindu succession law. He also regularly advises on public international law, such as WTO law, diplomatic immunity, and state contracts. Prior to joining the Hong Kong Bar, Wing has been a legal academic conducting research and teaching around the globe since 2010, including at Oxford, New Delhi, Luxembourg, Moscow, Kazan, Beijing, and Hong Kong, and previously acted as a legal advisor and expert witness for private clients for years in this capacity. He was formerly a judicial assistant of the Court of Final Appeal, and also served under the judge-in-chief of the Construction & Arbitration List of the High Court of Hong Kong.
